Buy raw materials for Swallow's Nest (SBW) from vendors, individual swallow breeders, from those supported by MSMEs, or raw materials from harvests from the Swallow Bird House (RBW) itself.

- The process of receiving raw swallow's nest from the farm.
- The initial sorting process is based on shape, fur and color.
- The process of storing swiftlet nests in a cold room after sorting.

- Cleaning swiftlet nests with running water to remove physical dirt.
- Cleaning also helps soften the nest for later processing.

Heat Treatment
The nests that have been graded are steamed in this room. The minimum steaming temperature for the nest is 70 degrees Celsius for at least 3.5 seconds. Heat treatment will remove bacteria, germs and bird flu viruses.
